Abstract |
: |
In few instances, after making the final impression of prepared teeth, fabrication of master
cast and mounting the casts on articulator, it is shown that the occlusal clearance of one of
the abutment teeth is not sufficient. In some situations of this problem, re-preparation and
remaking the final impression is difficult especially when multiple teeth were prepared and
patient has systemic problems, or it is not possible due to unavailability of the patient. This
technique describes the procedure of correcting occlusal clearance on the master cast,
fabricating restorations on the corrected cast then transferring the correction to the patient's
mouth. |
